Imported from Germany as a yearling right from Pony-Park Padenstedt, Germany's largest and most renown breeder of Haflingers, Bandito was the reserve champion of the weanling inspection.
"The Gentleman"
Bandito stands at 15.1 hh. An impressive and stout, darker chestnut stallion with an utmost beautiful head and gentle eye, which reflects his true character! He is a true gentleman, who impresses with his easy going disposition and exceptional trainability while showing off his strong and solid stature with beautiful movements.
Having bred him to various mares over the last few years, we can say with certainty, that he passes these attributes on to all of his offsprings!

Nothing he can't do
Bandito was the first Haflinger stallion on our ranch and the starting point of our Haflinger breeding program, initially only intended for our own mares. After we saw and started to handle and work with his first offsprings, we soon realized, that we had an exceptional sire and that we had more interest in people buying his foals than we could produce!
Coming from the rare B-line, Bandito soon became the star of our ranch!

Few sires have left their mark in the growing Canadian Haflinger breeding scene like Samson-C. Imported right from the heart of the original Haflinger world in 2005 - South Tyrol in Italy - S-line Haflingers are leading and outperforming many others in their reliability and performance - specially in competitive driving sports. Samson is no exception, having proven himself by siring many great and successful performers.
Pure beauty in looks and character
'Samson - C' stands 14.2hh tall.
He might be 22 years old, but will put many of new and greatly promoted newcomers in his shadow in terms of his beauty, gentleness, character and performance.
Reading through his report cards from 2001 as a 2-year old and 2003 as a 4-year old, when judged for his stallion qualifications in Southern Tyrol, Italy, he was already remarkable for his type, harmony, movements and collection and was therefore entered in the First Class Stud Book!
You won't find many other stallions in Western Canada, who are more typical and with more desirable Haflinger traits than Samson!
We will be using him for some of our mares in the 2021 breeding season and will see the first BTA-born offsprings in 2022, although we already have some of his earlier offsprings already in our herd! We will only be breeding a few, selected outside mares in 2021 and are looking into making shipped semen available.
