Originally registered through the Canadian Haflinger Association, we transferred her into the American Haflinger Registry in 2019 to be more streamlined with our AHR-based breeding program. Out of a German A-line sire, Dyhlia shows off a very nice pedigree, which was a good fit for our program.

Dyhlia is a 2004-born, strong and large framed mare, measuring close to 14.3hh. She is very correct built and combined with her friendly, caring and pleasing mind makes a great broodmare.
Her sire and dam were both imported from Germany and her dam "Dixi" is a grand-daughter of the outstanding stallion 'Nestroy'.
Dyhlia gave us a really stunning filly in early 2000 (Daphne BTA) and got bred back to 'Bandito' for an April 2021 foal!
The picture to the left shows Dyhlia's 2020 filly 'Daphne BTA' now standing in Alberta. Daphne was sired by Bandito and turned out to be a very impressive, well muscled and picture-book Haflinger!
Daphne as well as other Dyhlia offsprings are characterized by beautiful heads, solid and stout appearance on straight and correct legs. Daphne will mature as a good-sized mare with beautiful movements and loving character, which really could go any direction

We brought Huffy to our ranch from South Carolina in 2018 and knowing and riding her earlier offsprings, we can say with certainty, that she has proven herself to be an amazing broodmare. She is one of our top mares with a waiting list for her foals!
Huffy is a carrier of the Pangaré gene, which is characterized as a coat trait found in some horses that features pale hair around the eyes and muzzle and underside of the body. These pale areas can extend up to the flanks, throat and chest, behind the elbows, in front of the stifle, and up the buttock. Animals with the pangaré trait are sometimes also called "mealy" or "light-pointed".
In the picture above you can see Huffy with her 2020 colt "Baron BTA" out of "Bandito" Baron was sold to wonderful people in AB as a stallion prospect...I am sure you will hear more of him in the future!
Austin is a 2011 colt out of Huffy EHF, sired by Atino, who was imported to Canada from Germany. He is our main ranch and riding horse and has impressed by his exceptional trainability, his athletic movements and versatility...from working cattle to liberty, trail rides to arena work to driving... he is so versatile, you can truly confront him with everything and he will please you with his willingness and fast learning abilities!
Huffy is bred to "Antourage of Genesis" for a late June 2021 baby
Born in 2009, Karla is a darker chestnut mare, fine built and stands just a little under 14.2hh tall. She carries a beautiful, short and feminine head on a very proportionate and very well balanced body.
Karla is our only mare descending from the more rare B-line through her sire "Benno". who was imported from Europe together with our stallion "Samson-C" in 2005.

Karla is one of our proven broodmares, who gives us very strong, absolute correct offsprings with beautiful conformation and exceptional movements. Karla is a calm, friendly and easy going mare, which she passes on to her babies, who stand out as extremely friendly and approachable.
Karla is bred to "Antourage of Genesis" for a June 2021 baby.
Karla's 2020 colt "Benelli BTA" sired by "Bandito" has been sold to Quebec as a stallion prospect.
Benelli is a very people-loving colt with a lot of character and expression combined with a beautiful conformation, opening the doors to a bright future as a great performing riding and driving horse and sire.
Stay tuned, this is not the last you will hear and see from this great colt!
Lola is a beautiful, strong mare with excellent conformation and movements, standing close to 14.3hh tall.
Well-balanced, strong legged with a very nice, noble head portraying her character and disposition, Lola is one of our taller and larger framed mares.
She has a pedigree second to none and was added to our broodmare herd in early 2019, has given us one stunning colt so far, sired by Bandito.
For her pedigree and more information, please click here.
Lola's grand-sire "Standschutz" is a milestone in the Haflinger ST-line. Bred in Austria, Standschutz was the winner of the Generational Series at the 2015 Haflinger World Show.
Praised for his beautiful movements, which he has passed on down the line, Lola's offsprings are bound to impress with their movements, making them very suitable for dressage as well as most other directions you would like to pursue...
Known for the Haflinger's versatility and great trainability, willingness to work and to please, Bodhran BTA, sired by Bandito, was just recently sold to Alberta to a great ranching family, who will train and use him for all-around ranch and cattle work!
Being a strong, well-muscled and balanced colt with a very quiet and friendly disposition, we are absolute certain that Bodhran ("Bo") will not disappoint his new family....
Unfortunately we were unable to breed her back in 2020 due to a back injury, however she has since fully recovered and will be bred again in spring of 2021.
Nyssa is another one of our mares carrying the Pangaré gene, resulting in pale hair around eyes, muzzle and underside of the body. She is a beautiful, lighter chestnut colour, strong built with a short back and standing 14.2hh tall.
For her pedigree and ore information, please click here.
Nyssa produces stunning foals with very nice conformation and a lot of expression, which is no surprise given her impressive pedigree.
Stallions like Nobleman of Tudor Oaks, Aristocrat TOF/Afghan II and Afghan III NTF highlight her heritage.
Her 2011 offspring, "Nala EGR", sired by "Samson-C" is one of our main riding and work horses on the ranch and not without reason. The most sweet character you can imagine combined with power and great performance....what more can you ask for? (read more about Nala below)
Two of Nyssa's beautiful colts, which were born on our ranch - Banjo BTA (2019) and Benjamin BTA (2018) - were sold to Alberta to make a future team.
Nyssa's 2020 filly "Nutmeg BTA" got sold to Alberta to team up with her 2017 half sister "Hazel BTA", both sired by Bandito.
All her foals impressed with an extremely nice conformation and size as well as good disposition.
This time around, Nyssa was bred to our "Antourage of Genesis" for an early June 2021 foal.
Nala is a lighter coloured chestnut mare and while only standing 14.1hh tall, is amazingly strong and stout. She is a very well put together cross out of Nyssa TLF and Samson-C, who loves to work and please. She is very smart, energetic and also somewhat strong-minded, but still loving - a true power-horse and a pleasure to work with!
For her pedigree and more information, please click here.
Nala is a tough, little mare! - She works incredibly well out on the range moving cattle, is very forward going and moves through every terrain without hesitation or spooking, no matter if there are steep slopes, larger rivers, dense bush with blowdown or deep sandy hills. We call he our "power waggon" for a reason!
"Nala EGR" gave us 2 beautiful foals in 2016 and 2017. (in the picture is "Bolero BTA" by Bandito, now standing in Alberta as a great riding gelding)
In 2018 we started riding her more on the ranch as we needed more riding and lesson horses, which Nala has been doing ever since with perfection.
For 2021 we are planning on getting more into driving with her (single and team); however depending on how the year unfolds, we have not dismissed the idea of getting her bred again.
.'Maggie' is a beautiful, true golden-coloured chestnut mare and the smallest of our herd standing at 13.1hh tall. She is an original Canadian BC-bred mare, but with a rich German-Austrian heritage.
For her pedigree and more information, please click here.
Maggie has a lot of character! Although utmost sweet and loving towards us humans and being the smallest of the bunch, she is pretty much the leader of our herd!
With her shorter stature, a beautiful, fine head and a strong and nicely balanced body, she represents the old-style Haflinger type.
Maggie has served as a therapy horse for most of her life, then moved on to being a riding horse on Vancouver Island. After we brought her home in 2018, we used her as a lesson horse for one season (the kids lover her for her slow, smooth jog) before deciding to breed her for the first time. We bred her to Bandito in 2019 and got a stunning filly out of her in 2020 - "Quite Chilcotin BTA" We can't wait to see how she will develop with her new owner in Northern BC.
Maggie is bred to "Antourage of Genesis" for a July 2021 foal.
For her pedigree and more information, please click here.
Although Nicky just joined the broodmare herd in March 2021, she settled in very well and has become one of the most pleasant horses to be around on the ranch. She has a most gentle and agreeable character, very easy to handle and just wants to please...
Born
2002 AHR mare, Reg.No. CAN2414
We just committed to the purchase of another broodmare, which will fit great into our breeding program! Stay posted for an update very soon!
